Sony Ericsson P905 – Wonderful Concept Phone

Sony Ericsson one of the gaint of mobile phone industry is now going towards android phones. This concept look really nice to me and people also really like this one. The Sony Ericsson Android mania is loose, now that SE have announced they’ll be shipping an Android device next summer, so concepts had to adapt to the new trend. J. Havrlant is back with one of his high tech designs, the P905, that features a QWERTY keyboard (physical or touch?), a huge touchscreen display and Android OS plus its neat interface.

LG has the solution by introducing their 3G HSDPA wrist phone, the LG-GD910 that supports both 3G and HSDPA technology.  Pretty cool huh?

Well it is just another “toy” but a darn cool one that got me interested.  It has a 1.43-inch color LCD touchscreen and it has a video camera integrated in the watch face for video recording. In addition, it has text-to-speech, Bluetooth, MP3 playback and voice dialing with speech recognition. Sony Ericsson W595 on sale

Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) sent out an email informing its potential customers that their W595 Walkman phone is now on sale at Sony Style and authorized dealers.

The mid-range music phone was announced back in July along with two other Walkman phones – W302 and W902. Specs wise, it sports 3.2 megapixel camera, stereo speakers, Bluetooth, accelerometer, Walkman 3.0 music player, stereo Share jack that allows 2 headsets to be used at once, and Memory Stick Micro (M2) slot (2GB memory card is included in the box). Sony Ericsson will switch from HTC to Mobinnova For Windows Mobile-powered smartphones

According to Chinese-language Commercial Times, Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) will switch from HTC to Mobinnova for the manufacturing of its future Windows Mobile-powered smartphones. LG Prada II Image Gallery Hits the Web

I’ve you’ve been hankering for the new LG Prada device, the aptly named LG Prada II (LG KF900 Prada) could be found under your Christmas tree this year. That is, if you happen to live in Europe, and money is no object. The device is now on sale for €600 (that’s over $800 USD).

The device looks mightily similar to the first gen edition, and comes complete with a 3″ WQVGA touchscreen (240×400) and a full touch user interface. Apparently the new display now features multi-touch technology. There is also a full QWERTY keyboard (it’s a slider), WiFi, Bluetooth and HSDPA. A 5MP autofocus camera with Schneider-Kreuznach optics is on board, and the camera also has the ability to record D1 (720×480) videos at 30 frames per second. i-mate releases its own UI for Windows Mobile

If HTC (TouchFLO 3D), Sony Ericsson (Xperia Panels), Samsung (TouchWiz) and Asus (Glide) can have their own customized UI apps that sit on top of Windows Mobile, so can i-mate. The idea is of course to make smartphones running Microsoft’s mobile OS easier to use for an average user.

That being said, recently we’ve spotted i-mate releasing an UI app for its line of Windows Mobile smartphones called i-mate Go, which is based on the VITO Winterface and which honestly reminds us on iPhone’s UI.
