The self-declared download volumes were split between its Greystripe site and third party distributors.  US-based Greystripe’s catalogue includes 800 games by 70 publishers. The company says that during the last 12 months its users have played an average of 3.4 games, with the male-to-female ratio almost equal. The early morning commute and lunch breaks are the most popular time of the day to play mobile games with 9am, 1pm and 2pm the peak download times. Michael Chang, CEO of Greystripe, said: “Now mobile gaming joins radio, internet, and television as a form of entertainment that can be offered free to the consumer, supported by advertising in our case, before and after a consumer plays our titles.” Greystripe’s patent-pending AdWRAP technology automates the process that enables advertisements to be wrapped directly with mobile games and applications without any complex coding and development for the content owner.
